Carolyn North
“By inviting us all to join in this network of
shared service to all people with cancer, and their
caregivers, John is a living exemplar of the remarkable
work he has been doing all these years.
“Like him, I also believe that it is more than time
in the world, to demonstrate in every way we can that
the material world that we live in is part of a much
greater reality of many dimensions and ultimate sacredness.
Our lives within it are based upon love and connection
and service, and the apparent dichotomies of matter
and spirit, science and religion, darkness and light
– even life and death – are but different aspects of the same greater
Whole.
“Thank you, John, for your insight and hard work
and courage all these years, and now for this opportunity
to support your life and work in the greater world.”

Carolyn North writes, “I do healing work using improvisational movement
and sound. Mostly, I am interested in raising vibration
in any way I can do it. My interest is the ecstatic
experience, and I foster it through my writing, through
singing, creation of gardens, and falling in love as
frequently as I can. I live in Berkeley, California
with my husband, have grown children and extraordinary
grandchildren, and my latest book Ecstatic
Relations was published in the fall of 2006. |
